Member Organisations

Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge acts as an umbrella organisation for the voluntary Irish language sector, and for the Irish language community.  Currently there are 22 member organisations, incorporating the major areas within the sector, with the Board of An Chomhdháíl comprising representatives from each member organisation.

An Cumann Scoildrámaíochta
An organisation which promotes and develops Irish language drama in schools.

An Réalt
A cultural group under the patronage of The Legion of Mary.
Coláiste na bhFiann Teo.
Coláiste na bhFiann is the biggest organiser of Irish language colleges in Ireland and have 40 years of experience in teaching Irish.

Comhaltas Uladh
Comhaltas Uladh is the Ulster division of Conradh na Gaeilge.

Comhar na Múinteoirí Gaeilge
Comhar na Múinteoirí Gaeilge provides support to teachers throughout Ireland who are teaching Irish or teach through the medium of Irish.

Comharchumann Íde Naofa Teo
An organisation which works with other Irish language groups to preserve every aspect of the Irish culture.

Comhchoiste Náisiúnta na gColáistí Samhraidh (CONCOS) are a coordinated group which provides information to the public about Irish summer colleges throughout the country.

Comhlachas na gComharchumann Gaeltachta
A body which speaks for the rights of the Gaeltacht communities.

Comhluadar supports parents who wish to raise their children through the Irish language.

Cumann na Sagart
Cumann na Sagart provides resources to the clergy so that they may serve the Irish language community.

Eagraíocht na Scoileanna Gaeilge
This organisation works to preserve and strengthen Irish-medium education in Gaeltacht schools.

A independent, democratic organisation which deals with the 8 - 18 age group. It's two main aims are the promotion of the Irish language and to further the personal and social development of Ireland's youth.

Gaelachas Teo
Gaelachas Teo. contributes to the revival of Irish as a spoken and written language.

Gael Linn
Gael Linn is a national foundation with the main aim of strengthening the Irish language and native heritage.

A national voluntary organisation which provides help and support to developing Irish language schools.

An organisation which makes the living language more accessible to the community of Cork.

Na Naíonraí Gaelacha
This group works to create networks between other Naíonraí throughout the country.

Oireachtas na Gaeilge
The Irish language community's national festival which hosts competitions, exhibitions and entertainment amongst others.

Parlaimint na mBan
An Irish language forum which recognises the role of women in matters of the Irish language and tradition.
Pobal an Aifrinn
A Roman Catholic group which organises events throughout the year.

Raidió na Life
A community-of-interest radio station set up to provide a community-oriented Irish language radio service to the Irish-speaking community of Dublin and surrounding areas.

Spleodar aims to develop an appreciation of Irish in teenagers and educate them in co-operation and leadership skills.
