CONCOS is a co-ordinated joint committee between Irish Summer Colleges both within the Gaeltacht and outside the Gaeltacht area. CONCOS publishes and distributes information leaflets to the public providing information on 50 Irish Summer Colleges who are registered with the organisation.
The member colleges of CONCOS cater for more than 25,000 young people each year. CONCOS is a spokesperson for those member collages when in dialogue with the Department of Education, the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, other State Departments and other organisations and companies. CONCOS organises seminars and other training events for teachers, administrators and young people. CONCOS also runs a publicity and advertising campaign on behalf of the Irish Summer Collages.
